La Espina wants to vindicate the right to fail. A rave in favour of mediocrity designed where we will become ashes: a crematorium. A party to celebrate the pleasure of being, collectively, a nobody. A play that is, as all our existences are, a failure.

La Espina is made up of:

Actress and playwright Carmen Collado, director of the company, trained in theatre creation and direction with professionals such as María Velasco, Bárbara Mestanza or Marta Pazos. She works as an actress with El Conde de Torrefiel.

The actress, producer and director Aïda Soler, also director of the company, trained in production at ESCAC, and stage creation with professionals such as Atresbandes and Andrés Galián. Her work includes the film La sociedad de la nieve, by J.A. Bayona.

The actress and producer Yeidy Quiroz, producer of the company, trained in acting at the school La Bobina and also with Laura Jou.

The DOP and light designer Bibiana Gispert, the company's light designer, trained at ESCAC. She works as a technician in the Agrupación Señor Serrano.

Thursdays of voice and word 2024 builds on the proposals of regularly invited creators: Blanca Llum Vidal, Eduard Olesti, Sònia Moya, Esteve Plantada, Grup Jordi Hurtado, Àrea de Lletres de la Bonne, PEN Català and Sodepau.
