An autobiographical monodrama (in the early stages of development) which experiments with the form of a performance lecture. Ramzi allows himself to retrace his steps backwards from 2005, the year he arrived in Barcelona with a strong will to start over again and leave his past behind him. But strange and intrusive noises follow him, tormenting even his most quotidian moments. He delves into stories from his youth in a search to discover the origin of these sonic interruptions.

Ramzi Maqdisi started his professional career as an actor at the Palestinian National Theatre (2000-2005). He then worked internationally in theatres such as The Nordic Black Theatre (Norway), La Invenció Theatre (Spain) and Khashabi Theatre (Palestine). As a director he has staged numerous plays at the Palestinian National Theatre and his work as a playwright has been produced by Northern Stage (Here is the News from Over There) & Ensemble 52 (Aviatrix). His film credits include Raed Andoni's Ghost Hunting (winner of the Berlinale Award for Best Documentary), Hani Abu-Assad's Omar and Ziad Doueiri's The Attack.
