The Anti-Colonial Mobile Book Library was born only a year ago, and is growing little by little with proposals that different artists, activists and writers have made and are making. The books it contains talk about hair, skin, crickets, mermaids and borders. Some ask how much land a man needs, and others tell stories about people who would like to stop being grey. One of the first books to make up the library was Crianzas by Susy Shock, a South African trans artist. And it is on Wednesday 6 November in the Rubió i Lluch Gardens, the day Susy will read the text aloud to us, inviting us to enter her universe of mud, fairies and sequins, with some music and hot chocolate. We are waiting for you!
