Open and free activity, until full capacity is reached.
The organisers of this event will give an official certificate of participation.
In this Jam session, we will seek to achieve a greater connection with the vital energy of our body, as a tool to release blockages and restore harmonisation and balance.
Starting from the conditioning factor of graphic and pictorial expression based on the calligraphy of the artist Qi luo from the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, who, through movement, will paint icons, motifs, legends and various poems from his soul, which will in turn be interpreted by the dancers of the Castelldefels Municipal Dance School, who, from their experience, will ensure that the audience participates, encouraging a holistic harmony between body and soul.
Chinese calligraphy is considered a practice that promotes harmony and healing through the expression of Qi ("flow of vital energy" that flows through the meridians in our body). Similar to the practice of dance, the movement in each stroke reflects the vital energy of the artist.
The very act of the Jam itself will favour the exchange of energy through the emotions, between looks and gestures, movements of beings, who without knowing each other will share the soul and the body raised in a positive construction, of goodness and health.
Activity of the cycle "Art and health. Art as a transformative tool in healing processes" promoted by SocialFestBcn.
With the participation of Qi Luo and the Castelldefels Municipal School of Dance.
In collaboration with the research group M.I.M.A (Memory and Artistic Matter. GINDO-University of Barcelona/188).
