Conversation on the relationship between images and thought with the participation of the Portuguese artists' collective Sismógrafo, Maria João Macedo and Susana Camanho, the poet Mario Campaña and philosophers Begonya Sáez Tajafuerce (UAB), Fina Birulés, Stefania Fantauzzi, Anita Lanfranconi, Elena Laurenzi (members of the Philosophy and Gender Seminar at UB).

Reflections will be shared based on the experiences of having built bridges between art and thought, and between the cities of Porto and Barcelona, and especially on one of its fruits: the collection Cadernos Imagens de Pensamento, which will be presented in this session.

Maria João Macedo has a degree in Communication Design and a master's degree in Editorial Design from the University of Porto; her studio Macedo Cannatà has been responsible for various international projects. She is responsible for the editorial programme of Sismógrafo.

Susana Camanho holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona and a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Porto. Researcher at the Art, Politics and Knowledge Group of the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Porto, she is curator of the lecture series Images of thought, editor and translator of the collection Cadernos Imagens de Pensamento

The philosophers Fina Birulés, Stefania Fantauzzi, Anita Lanfranconi and Elena Laurenzi, PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona, are researchers at the Philosophy and Gender Seminar at the UB.

The philosopher Begonya Sáez Tajafuerce holds a PhD in Philosophy from the UAB and is a lecturer at the same university.

Mario Campaña is a poet, essayist and translator, founder and director of the magazine Guaraguao, which disseminates Latin American culture.
