Live visual and sound sensory experience
Activity open to every one and free of charge, with prior registration at:
https://www.socialfilmfest.com/
Immersed in the constant flow of sounds that surround us, both audible and inaudible to the human ear in the city of Barcelona, we often overlook the profound impact they can have on our mental and physical health.
With Dr. Jordi Costa-Faidella, researcher at the Brainlab-Cognitive Neuroscience Research Group - Institute of Neuroscience University of Barcelona, and musicians Valo Sonoro, Javi Robledo and visual artist Diego Suárez! ME (NOTme), we will travel inside our brain and how it can affect our emotions.
We will activate a live visual and sound sensory experience, with field recordings of nature and city sounds, violin sounds and objects captured with a microphone, which they themselves have recorded all over the world. You will be able to interact with the session through meditation, writing, drawing or exploring intuitive movement with the artist/dancer ilona. We will use sound as an instrument to explore and achieve certain levels of consciousness and as a therapeutic tool capable of restoring inner balance.
