Sudden entry (through the window)

Guided visit of the centre's building, led by the artist Xavier R. Safont, paying special attention to the Viaplana/Piñón architectural studio's project and the spatial changes in the different institutional stages of the centre. The research produced over the last year by the artist himself will also be presented (approx. 40 min.). This will be followed by a dynamic body-space activity with the proposal of three short exercises to be carried out freely by the public. Finally, there will be a final colloquium (approx. 20 min.).

Xavier R. Safont is a young architect and artist who combines his professional practice as a designer with disruptive research experiments to explore the limits of his profession and the everyday experience of space. His artistic projects are often action-research projects that directly involve the body and the space it occupies; he also works with ephemeral installations that interrogate or interpret the architecture of the place.
