On the occasion of the exhibition The tradition that runs through us, the artist and curator Gabriel Virgilio Luciani and the artist Agustín Ortiz Herrera propose a viewing of the work "Gnosis Iluminada" followed by a colloquium open to the participants.

The project "Gnosis Iluminada" aims to generate a questioning of the dynamics of the production of knowledge from hegemonic positions in contrast with the alternatives that emerge from marginality and the multiplicities of queer options. This problematic is linked to the conflict represented by the presence of non-normative bodies in the public sphere. The synergy between the production of institutional knowledge and the normative representation of memory still operates strongly, with the exclusive dynamics that this produces. The colloquium will start from the commentary on the artistic project to open an inclusive debate on the positional invisibilisation exercised towards various strata of existence with which we should coexist in a more harmonious way.
