The City Composing, conceived by the artist Hara Alonso, is the project that will close this year's edition of the OUT·SIDE cycle. The artist will collaborate with a group of students from the Master's Degree in Improvisation at ESMUC. This project is based on the idea that people can participate in the creative process anonymously.

This proposal is based on the idea that cities are living organisms that integrate multiple expressions and sources of inspiration: the citizens, the geography, the sounds of the city... For this reason, for a month blank notebooks and coloured pencils will be left in different public spaces in the city, such as museums, cafés, train stations, etc., so that people can participate in the creative process through their scores, drawings or poems.

All this material will be compiled and will serve as a basis for Hara Alonso to create pieces that will be presented in concert format.
