An undisciplined conversation
General public
Activity with pre-regitration (20 places):
coordinacioasm@magmacultura.net
We are a space for community debate and reflection from where to interrogate and overflow current forms of knowledge by creating a periodic study group, a small community where to think and act together in dangerously unpromising times.
We take the form of an open study group (or deformed study group, as some of the people who have passed through here prefer to call it), where we hold periodic meetings where we dialogue with various invited agents. This time we will be joined by Sergi Casero Nieto, who works at the intersection between design, action and research. His work explores the use of performance as a research tool, placing special emphasis on the design of scenographic devices. Historical information becomes physically present in his work by delving into counter-narratives such as oral testimonies or collective memory.
During the session, through the poem "Silentium" by Ossip Mandelstam, we will explore the potential of memory and oral transmission as tools of resistance.
An undisciplined conversation is a project by Elena Blesa Cábez, Diana Rangel and Clara Piazuelo.
