Christian von Borries - "A.I. IS THE ANSWER - WHAT WAS THE QUESTION?" 77min (2020) (post-screening discussion with the filmmaker)

"A social science fiction miniseries" is what composer Borries calls his new film. He has compiled fragments of speeches, web findings, advertising messages and scenes with two fictional characters in a world where wonder can only be virtual.

Filmmaker biography
Christian von Borries produces new Media from other Media. He is a conductor, composer, filmmaker and producer of site-specific psychogeographic projects. He is an anti-copyright activist and lives in a hothouse in Berlin.

The first programme of screenings of the Laboratory is formulated as questions: what do filmmakers do in this era of an overabundance of images? How do they represent the crossovers between the real and the virtual? What are the new forms of audiovisual activism?
