Programa de Cine Laboratori

Public presentation of the projects in progress at the Laboratorio de creación Archipiélago, a space developed between March and June that has been self-managed by the participants: Cinta Torcido, Jorge Librero, Gemma González, Luca Calderó, Ola García Betorz, Diana Daf Collazos, Diana Rangel, Marta Polo and Elena Maravillas. In this laboratory, coordinated by Andrés Duque and Mònica Rovira, the aim was to pay tribute to and think collectively about the filmographies of Barbara Hammer, Agnès Varda, Naomi Kawase, Chantal Akerman and Margaret Tait.

In addition to showing the projects, the festival will also see the launch of the spoon cinema manifesto, in the words of the participants themselves: "Spoon cinema is in transition, in transfer; it approaches its environment as an apprenticeship, a movement from - to. Filming like a spoon that picks up something, transfers it and empties itself". This spirit has permeated the creations that have originated in the laboratory:

Mantel y cuchara, Elena Maravillas and Cinta Torcido with the whole group Archipiélago de creación.

Nhacerme, by Diana Daf Collazos, Elena Maravillas, Marta Polo i Diana Rangel

Sucar pan, by Cinta Torcido and Ola Garcia

Apuntes para un autorretrato fílmico (Notes for a filmic self-portrait), by Luca Calderó

Half here, by Gemma González

If you leave me afraid Telegram, I'll talk to you/without you, by Jorge Librero

The projections will be followed by a concert by the tender punk band Chococlacks.

An initiative of the Mostra Internacional de Films de Dones de Barcelona and Santa Mònica, coordinated by Andrés Duque and Mònica Rovira.

By the participants of the Laboratori de creació Arxipèlag
