FLUX 2022. festival de vídeo d'autor

17th edition of the FLUX auteur video festival, characterised from the outset by its focus on authors linked to the city of Barcelona who work in the field of creative video (video art, creative documentary, video installations, etc.).

In this edition, the central authors of the festival are Arturo Bastón, Kikol Grau and Elisabet Mabres, artists with very diverse careers who delve into the fields of art, video creation, installation, video performance, documentary or audiovisual experimentation. There are MONOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS, COLLOQUIES with the authors and the premiere of their SELF-PROJECTS, unpublished works commissioned by the festival.

In addition, we present the collective video installation FLUX VIDEOCAPSA, where we experiment with alternative exhibition formats for videographic works, made up of unpublished videos by the authors Josep-Maria Balanyà, Miquel Boneta, Lupe Gorro, Alessandro Olla, Yapci Ramos, Jordina Ros / Pere Estadella, Tamo, Ireneu Tranis, Josep Vila Fisas, Maya Wolińska.

The opening act was Santiago Latorre with his audiovisual show La arquitectura de la amistad (The architecture of friendship).

This year we continue with the FLUX CLUB REMIX section, where you can see a selection of works by the authors who have participated in the Flux Club sessions at the Antic Teatre in Barcelona throughout 2022. We screen videos by Carles Hac Mor, Nilo Arias and Lorenzo Papanti (Materic. org), Ramon Guimaraes, Johanna Speidel, Albert Merino, Francesca Llopis, Marzo Rabal, Julián Álvarez, Arturo Bastón, Ireneu Tranis, Piròmana d'Argos, Josep Vila Fisas, Lisa Marrani, Vera Livia García and Alessandro Olla, Martín Virgilio, Jordina Ros / Pere Estadella, Denys Blacker, Jean Gabriel Périot (UFO Unidentified Video Observatory), Ana Rodríguez León.
