Four hours workshop aimed at artists from any field with or without facilitating experience. It will provide essential tools to be comfortable in situations where it is important to manage participation (moderating a round table, facilitating a collective creation...) and to encourage interventions.
This workshop is a first introductory capsule that will help us to reflect critically on the participation of the public in artistic proposals. In this first workshop, we will delve into the world of group facilitation, introducing methodological tools and skills to:
- the generation of links and presence between artists and audiences
- energising the participation of a group
- encouraging debates with the audience
The introduction of the theoretical contents will be based on participatory and experiential group dynamics and theatrical tools, from which practical reflections will be made. At all times, we will ensure cohesion, knowledge and trust in the group, facilitating awareness of the group's diversity and learning from its potential.
The workshop will be given by Magalí Permanyer from Nus Cooperativa, an organisation made up of an interdisciplinary team of professionals from the performing arts and the social world. They develop actions and transformative processes with a feminist and community perspective, based on creativity and healing, to deal with social issues and to make visible and transform power relations. Nus is known for its long trajectory in social theatre but also for its training and facilitation activities. They teach the subject of Participatory Methodologies in the Master's Degree in Social Policies and Community Action (UAB).
