A look through the design and assembly of "La irrupció"

Rəndəring. The institution in transition.
The intention of the guided tour is to question and investigate the material and professional possibilities of the institutional space in the process of construction and assembly. At this moment, materials are set in motion and the processes of rehabilitation and transformation of corners, walls and ceilings are activated, and new ways of inhabiting the space and new working agents who inhabit it emerge. This includes sounds, materials, transitional movements and temporary installations, as well as ways of relating to the environment that transform the apparent "silence and suspension" that the exhibition centre transmits when it closes its doors to the public.
Thus, the definition of the agents that make the creation and exhibition of art possible are also transformed. By making the processes of exhibition design and installation visible to those responsible for them, the activity highlights the shared views of the centre's key agents, giving value and visibility to internal, in-depth knowledge of the processes of producing an exhibition.
By Francesc Isern and Paula Font Creixell, in charge of the exhibition design; Xavi Hernández, in charge of the exhibition assembly; and Marina Rubio, technical manager of the Santa Mònica.
