4t PMCCB

On the morning of Saturday 12 February 2022, in the framework of the 10th SÂLMON Festival of Living Arts (9-22 February 2022), the 4th Citizen ParliaMent of Culture of Barcelona (PMCCB) will be held at the Santa Mònica.

The session on 12 February will have two parts: a first part, which will mark the closing of a first cycle of open calls or ParlaMentos (held between May 2019 and March 2020) dedicated to Grassroots Culture in Barcelona; and a second part, dedicated to the constitution of a plural debate table that will define the points and agenda to be followed for the constitution of the future Citizen Observatory of Culture.

The Citizen ParliaMent is a non-partisan space of confluence, proposal, deliberation, cooperation and political action of those people who act together to act as a permanent counterweight to political parties and economic elites who have often instrumentalised and placed the representative political system at the service of a reductive vision of the general interest in favour of financial and market interests. It works collegially, with a driving group and public calls (open to the public).
