Presentation "Abans el llenguatge" (Before the language)

Activity open to everyone and free of charge with limited capacity
The project "Abans el llenguatge/Antes el lenguaje" (Before Language) was born out of the invitation Nora Ancarola received from the Lo Pati Art Centre to create an exhibition. A project that goes beyond the framework of the exhibition, in which other artists and cultural agents have joined in, and which has unfolded in three different but totally interconnected dynamics, three parts made from the same fabric. Firstly, there has been a group exhibition at Lo Pati, curated by Aura Boix, which includes works by Nora Ancarola, Camila Barcellone and Diana Rangel. Secondly, and with the help of Nora Ancarola and the psychoanalyst Celeste Reyna, what the artistic institution calls a "delocalised project" has taken place, where the communities of the Pere Mata Terres de l'Ebre Foundation (FPMTE) and the School of Art and Design of Amposta (ESARDI) have converged with that of the project itself. And finally, this publication, where, in addition to collecting part of the memory of everything that has been happening, we wanted to bring together other voices that make up our affective community, since we cannot refer to our practices outside our own specific historical context.
