Opportunities for the Catalan producers at Film London Production Finance Market

The Culture’s Department of the Government of Catalonia, through the Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies (ICEC), has an ongoing relationship with companies and professionals of the cultural sector and encourages their participation in European projects, from the Creative Europe Desk – MEDIA Catalunya, assigned to the Markets Area of the ICEC. That is why that, together with Catalan Films&TV, Creative Europe Desk – MEDIA Catalunya organized this conference about the Film London Production Finance Market and the opportunities that it offers to the Catalan audiovisual producers.
Catalan Films & TV, Europa Creativa MEDIA Desk – Catalunya and the Audiovisual Area of ICEC organize an infoday about the Film London Production Finance Market and Micro Market, the main lines of these markets, how to present projects, as well as their selection criteria.
The event, that will be held on Wednesday April 26 from 10 to 12.30h, in the Auditorium of Arts Santa Monica, aims to encourage Catalan audiovisual producers to attend the Film London Production Finance Market, which has the support of Creative Europe MEDIA and will be held in London in October, informing them about the special opportunities that offers.
The conference will be attended by Helena Mackenzie, head of foreign investments and business development in Film London, that will present the Production Finance Market and will expose its features. There will be also the participation of Catalan producers Sergi Moreno, from Lastor Media, who will explain their experience in co-production with London; and Valérie Delpierre, from Inicia Films, who will narrate her experience in this market. Both producers have also been beneficiaries of the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme on several ocasions.
