Meeting On Art & Gallerism '17

Anual meeting to discuss the current situation of the visual arts and the role of art galleries.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Gremi of Galeries d'Art de Catalunya organizes the Conferences on Art and Galleries, which will be held on Monday 27 November at Arts Santa Mònica, Barcelona.

This new edition of the Conferences on Art and Galleries counts with  the collaboration of Talking Galleries, the 'think tank' aimed at the art gallery sector. The meeting consists of three sessions aimed at art galleries in order to offer a space for professional exchange and address practical aspects in the management of a gallery. In spite of being a day focused on the needs of the art sector and its professionals, it is an activity open to all interested public.

About Talking Galleries

Talking Galleries is an international think tank dedicated to generating debate and knowledge in the field of art galleries and the art market. Launched in 2011, it holds an annual symposium in Barcelona and organises talks and conferences in global art capitals such as Paris, Madrid, London or New York, where it has developed a strong network of local partners. Among its latest international events are TG Paris 2017, TG Seoul 2016/2017 and TG Berlin 2015.
