A series of expeditions to specific sites for the creation of video art, docufiction and sound art under the concept of Interruptions to the linear logic of development in several parts of Mexico, specifically Baja California Sur and Oaxaca.

Post Kaput is a collective project formed by the visual artists Icetrip and Victor Martínez who have developed works of Live Cinema, performance and sound art since the year 2007. They are currently working on a research on "Interruptions to the Linear Logic of Development" with the support of the National Funds for Culture and Arts of Mexico to carry out the recovery and reactivation of the archive of the organization La Ce.D Contemporary Art that worked in the 90's, as well as to carry out interventions and site specific works in different parts of the Mexican Republic. To reveal processes of disruption of development as a critical view on capitalism of post-colonial contexts with means such as video art, docufiction and sound art, with the use of instruments made of recycled materials and promoting participatory situations with other artists and the audience. We are presenting two films: "Frames for a Peninsula", portraying rural live of Baja California Sur, as well as "The Spirit in the Machine" In the vicinity of Oaxaca City from a collection of mythologies and philosophical accounts related to the dilemma of body, soul and machine in the universal imaginary.
