Anton Vidokle is the founder and director of e-flux, a curatorial and publishing platform as well as an archive, artistic project and distribution medium for critical art discourse from around the world. It has been active since 1998. His work has been seen at biennial exhibitions, art centres and international academies, such as the Venice Biennale, the Dakar Biennale, the Tate Modern, the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris and Harvard University, amongst others. He has produced projects such as The Next Documenta Should Be Curated by an Artist, Do It, Utopia Station, An Imaginary Bank for Everyday Revolutionary Life and Unitednationsplaza, a project relating art and education done after the cancellation of Manifesta 6, where he was co-curator.

On Mediation is an educational seminar of a theoretical and practical nature. It engages a variety of perspectives and manners of moving curatorial practice towards a post-disciplinary practice. On Mediation seeks to be a space for inter and trans-disciplinary dialogue and debate, as developed in two phases: a theoretical phase featuring recognized internationally experienced curators; and a practical phase, where a tutored curatorial project is carried out.
With this performative lecture, which closes the theoretical phase of the third edition of the OM/3 seminar, both key areas of interest are accented. In the session, open to the public, the guest international curator will do a presentation on museums as factories for the resurrection of the past, to be followed by one of his films, The Communist Revolution Was Caused By The Sun (2015).
