The classical music approaches to new technologies through the project Phenicx (phenicx.upf.edu), which proposes new ways to enjoy the experience of live music through innovative systems that allow to view and listen to a concert in a personalized way depending on the interests of the viewer.
After three years of international research, we invite the audience of Barcelona to discover these technologies through different activities:

• A concert of classical music and technology (piano and violin): The concert will last for 5-10 minutes and will be repeated. During the concert there will be a projection with an application that lets the audience see in real time different aspects of the music performance such as the structure, instrumentation, predominant melody or gestures of the director.
• A space for demos: with tablets and headsets visitors can explore various components of the prototype of the concert: listening separately the different instruments of the orchestra, the score display while listening to music, and learning about the structure symphonic works.
• Directs the orchestra: an interactive installation to simulate the role of a conductor and t understand the control of the different instruments and their interpretations through gestures.
