FLUX 2016. Video Auteur Festival

Video Creation Festival (with projections, video installations, performances and colloquiums)

This is the eleventh edition of Video Auteur Festival FLUX, characterized from the beginning by focusing the protagonism in the authors linked to Barcelona working in the field of video creation (video art, documentary, video installations, etc.).

In this edition of the festival the central authors are Adolf Alcañiz, Antoni Muntadas and Rrose Present, artists with very different backgrounds who enter with their own viewpoint, in the fields of art, video art, video installation, documentary or audiovisual experimentation. There will be MONOGRAPHIC PROJECTIONS, COLLOQUIUMS with the authors and the release of their SELF-PORTRAITS, new works commissioned by the festival.

In addition, we present the silent video installation FLUX MUT, by *) Abu Ali Toni Serra, and the collective video installation FLUX VIDEOCAPSA which experiment with alternative formats for display of videographic works, with unpublished videos by the authors Vicent Arlandis, Fernando Baños, Manel Bayo, Carolina Cabrerizo, Nuria Canal, Alba Corral + Dariusz Makaruk, Manel Muntaner, Olga Ponoko & Javier Guerra, Txalo Toloza and Zavan Films.

And as inaugural event we have the PERFORMANCE of Tuia Cherici & Masahiko Ueji with the show "Manucinema."
