Audience development and social impact
Lecture room
The Culture’s Department of the Government of Catalonia, through the Catalan Institute of Cultural Companies (ICEC), has an ongoing relationship with companies and professionals of the cultural sector and encourages their participation in European projects, from the Creative Europe Desk – MEDIA Catalunya, assigned to the Markets Area of the ICEC. The #EuropeCalls sessions are one of its tools bringing knowledge of the European supports to the Catalan cultural companies. The Culture and MEDIA (audiovisual support) subprogrammes are widely treated in these informative and training sessions, as well as other programmes where the cultural sector can also have possibilities to be benefited by the European supports.
The #EuropeCalls session on Friday January 22, 2016, dedicated to the new call for proposals to support the Audience Development of the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme, aims to encourage and promote the participation of the Catalan audiovisual sector in this call and clarify what is meant by social impact in European projects. The idea is to inform about the novelties of this year, and provide useful tips and recommendations on how to measure and assess the social impact and how to improve it. It will feature the presence of Ramon Flecha, an expert on social impact, and Laia Colell and/or Nuria Aidelman, from A Bao A Qu, as a study case with the Project Moving Cinema, beneficiary in the last two calls of support to Audience Development of Creative Europe MEDIA. The conference is aimed at independent TV production companies especially interested in this call, whose deadline is March 3, 2016, as well as other companies in the cultural and creative sector that are in the process of developing a European project.
The session will be in Catalan language.
