This blog has been created with the aim of promoting interaction between artists and the public. Artists and curators who exhibit their artistic projects at Arts Santa Mònica may use the blog to expand information about their exhibition, posting texts and materials in different formats that can be seen as a deeper look at the exhibition's message, a complementary path offering spectators other ways of understanding the exhibition proposal. Visitor comments on the blog will offer direct contact with the artists, establishing a dialogue between the two sides of the artistic phenomenon.

The first artist to feature on our blog is Fermin Muguruza. As part of the Black is Beltza exhibition, the artist will be in residence at the Espai Residència from 20 June to 10 July. During this time he will undertake what could be defined as a musical and audiovisual laboratory, an encounter between musicians from Catalonia, the Basque Country and New Orleans. The Arts Santa Mònica blog will be the dissemination medium for this entire artistic creation process.
