Meeting in which the potential of culture and circus specially on social transformation, inclusion and community development will be discussed. Organized by the Catalan National Council for Culture and Arts (CoNCA), the Artistic Mediation Post Graduate Studies and the l’Associació de Professionals del Circ de Catalunya.

Circus is an art tightly linked to society. The variety of techniques, the diversity of types of expression, teamwork and the potentiation of self esteem are some of the qualities that make circus an ideal tool in artistic mediation work. To identify existing social circus projects in Catalonia, to get to know the groups to which they are adressed and the methodology used, and to introduce the importance and the problematics that arise while establishing a evaluation systems are the main objectives of the meeting.
