International Short Film and Animation Festival

Arts Santa Mònica is once again one of the centres of activity at the 17th Mecal Pro International Short Film and Animation Festival of Barcelona. It is a meeting point for Spanish and international film production, distribution and screening professionals looking to establish new relationships and expand the market for short films.
Over the three days, the professionals will have access to viewing points with the programming of this year's Mecal-Pro;
at 5 pm on Thursday 16 April
Arts Santa Mònica will be the venue for crowdfunding coaching session with Verkami, during which 8 selected projects will receive advice from the specialized platform Verkami about financing all or part of their project by means of micro-sponsorship.
from 11 am to 2 pm on Friday 17 April
there will be one-to-one sessions - personalized meetings between professionals. At the same time, and as part of the activities programmed in the parallel sessions,
at 5 pm on Friday 17 April
there will be a scriptwriting master class, with Jesús Ramos, a Spanish experimental filmmaker.
