12 rounds is a three sided dialogue between Laia’s keyboards, Roger’s guitar and a device called Tres Tristos Trons which acts as rhythmic base and in which we can hear engines, tins, comes, springs, banjo boxes and endless parts assembled so specially for our ears and eyes. Although more than dialogue this can be called combat, because it is full of blows, and good ones. 12 rounds sounds rough and marshy, sharp and restless. Music for dancing without being dance music. Evocative music without being scenic. All of a rave conceived in a workshop with bolts and metal plates falling to the floor.
