Flux. Auteur independent video creation festival

Tenth edition of the FLUX auteur video creation festival, which has been characterized from the beginning by highlighting creators connected with the city of Barcelona, in the field of video creation (video art, creative documentary, video installation, etc.).

In this tenth edition, leading creators at the festival include JimJak, Mabel Palacín and Elisabet Prandi, all artists from very different backgrounds, each involved in a unique way with the field of art, video creation, video installation, documentary, or audiovisual experimentation. There will be INDIVIDUAL SCREENINGS, INTERVIEWS with the creators and launch of their PORTRAITS, as well as unpublished works exclusive to the festival.  
We will also be presenting the silent video installation FLUX MUTE, created by Julián Álvarez, and the group video installation FLUX VIDEOBOX experimenting with alternative formats of video exhibition, including unpublished videos by creatorsMiguel Andrés, Arturo Bastón, Angie Bonino, Lalo García & Raimon Lorda, Kikol Grau, Félix Pérez Hita, Rrose Present, Sra. Audiovisual, Pía Sommer and Morrosko Vila-San-Juan.
 

 
In celebration of the tenth anniversary, this will be a special edition with extra activities added to the regular festival programme: a project exhibited with unpublished VIDEO INSTALLATIONS by Francesca Llopis, Albert Merino i Jordi Teixidó; premier DOCUMENTAL 10th ANIVERSARY; and PORTRAITS screened of 34 of the most prominent creators at the festivals between 2005 and 2015.
The opening ceremony will feature a performance by Cris Blanco with the show “ciencia_ficción” (“science_fiction”).
