The call for applications for grants for applied research and experimentation projects in artistic mediation in residence 2022/2023 at the Santa Mònica arts centre has been published. The deadline for applications is 30 May.
The grants are aimed at creators in the relational or participatory field, opening up the possibility of developing research projects using the institutional channels that the centre itself has at its disposal.
The artistic residencies are understood as temporary stays of eleven months at Santa Mònica with a set of accompaniment and support services during the creative process to contribute to the professional development of the artists. The model involves an experience of working in the same space with the aim of fostering exchange between residents and enriching it with a collective dimension.
The aim of activating relational or participatory artistic research projects, aimed at the public, is to generate forms of social return to the public. These results will be disseminated through the various channels of Santa Mònica, specifically those related to the modality in which each specific project is inscribed.
